TRONNOVATE DESIGN - Intern During a year of working as a design intern in a startup company, I have participated in kickstarter projects for three times. In the process, I came to learn about different aspects of design. I have grasped the "serious creative" ways of coming up with actual product from market research, ideation with profetional speed, production process, crowdfunding experience, to basic marketing skills. For me, it is a very beautiful and precious time. FANTASPHERE(ongoing project) - Founder Fantasphere is a kickstarter project that I team up with four friends of mine who are interested in startup business. I try to utilize the experience I have acquired in the company. Due to this experience, I get to appreciate many beautiful things, especially team harmony. Besides that, i have also learned about market research, product developement, brand image developement, pricing wisely, and production experience. UNESCO History Reconciliation Camp- Student The camp was held to foster reconciliation among east asian country. I met many great people who are willing to devote themselves to the world and create positive impacts, which made me have even more interest in design and social enterprise.

BACKGROUND

Stress and anxiety have filled the life of modern people, and we believe there must be a

large number of people who have been shouting deeply in their mind saying “Please just let m e e s c a p e f r o m t he r eality, even fo r one moment � ; W h en not bei ng i n a good mood, w e

often get close to the nature to relieve our hearts and souls, read a well-written book, or c h a t wit h f r ie nd s , e t c .


FANTASPHERE We found ourselves fascinated by the unreal scene and beauty. Thus, we try to pack the nature and transformed it into the light and shade of silence and beauty in front of the table, So we made Fantasphere. Fantashpere is a glass sphere with unreal light and shadow.

THE MATERAIL The lampshade is handmade by prestigious craftsmen from Taiwan, so the warm touch of handmade object is preserved. The base is aluminum material , which capture the elegant touch for the lamp.

PRICING& PRODUCTION In order to achieve the fundraising goal, the work must go beyond the standards and levels

as students’ assignments. During the process of business negotiation with the factory, we

discussed the minimum production amounts,

the feasibility of different kinds of materials and production procedures, evaluations of operation

and costs, the visionary planning for global deliveries, etc. Fantasphere has enabled us to lear n tremendo usly f r om t h i s pr oj ec t .

THE IDEA

I STARTED THINKING THE MEANING OF TIME. TIME IS A FIXED FREQUENCY THAT COULD LAST FOREVER. BUT I COULD NOT FIND ANY WARMTH IN THE GIVEN FREQUENCY WE HAVE. I WANTED TO CREATE A NEW FREQUENCY THAT IS MORE CONNECTED TO HUMAN BEINGS. SO I MAKE A CLOCK WITH HEARTBEAT.
