Inspect seals around window, door, and door lock assembly and replace if damaged. Check door lock and latch assembly. Make sure it opens, shuts, and locks door securely and there is no rust, grease, oil, or dirt on door lock and latch assembly parts. Inspect window for cracks or chips. Replace window if damaged.
WARNING Compressed air can move particles so that they cause injury to the user or to other personnel. Make sure that the path of the compressed air is away from all personnel. Wear protective goggles or a face shield to prevent injury to the eyes. Check door assembly parts for oil, grease, dirt, and other debris. Clean door assembly and parts with a clean cloth, soap, and water. Compressed air can be used for drying door assembly and parts.

Door Lock Assembly 1. Install grip and seal to outside door handle assembly. See Figure 52.
