Lastly, I want remind you all that you motivate me to be a better Soldier, Leader, and Commander each and every day. The U’R IG and U’R G8 were extremely impressed with your professionalism and dedication during their SAV and GFEBS training visits. They both had nothing but great things to say about the Soldiers and the detachment. Continue to strive for greatness and exceed expectations. “LEAD FROM THE FRONT, NEVER QUIT” CPT ANDRES LEON
April Newsletter From the Detachment Sergeant Cobras, We are now in the spring season. It will soon start to heat up; dehydration will come more easily, as our body puts out more sweat. Ensure that you are staying hydrated. Ensure that you practice safety in everything that you do. Think about your summer activates and ensure that you always have a plan and someone always knows your whereabouts. Being accountable amongst your battle buddies is ultimately the responsible thing to do. Ensure that you don't set off on an adventure by yourself, have a buddy, travel in buddy groups and always be aware of your surroundings. As we transition into the high PCS season ensure that we plan accordingly and make sure that we cover down on all of our sections. We have been doing a great job, being under staffed and accomplishing all of our missions. Ensure that you help out your fellow battle buddies in the office. If you see that someone has a huge workload, ask them how you can be of assistance. Remember, look out for one another as we are all one team. Continue to seek self improvement, whether it is through an online university, or the local colleges that offer classes here on post. Take advantage of bettering your education, as it will only pay dividends in your future. Always seek for ways to develop yourself whether it is personal, professionally, physically, or spiritually. Strive for excellence in all that you do and conduct yourself in the upmost professional manner.
