This story began from a trip to America. I went to Boston several years ago. And it means a lot to me. While visting museums, galleries and concerts in Boston, I started to think what arts meant to me. From an early age, I have found Art fascinating. Since one of my drawing which I ﬁnished in kindergarten was posted on a newspaper, it began my life of Art.
Art allows me to transform images in my mind into something visible. The ability to convert imagination into reality interests me. It is the most amazing things that totally diﬀerent to other subjects. I’m eager to express my creativity which couldn't fed through Microelectronic circuit , yet I greatly enjoyed solving problems. It wasn't until my ﬁrst Design class (Fundmantal Design II) in NCTU that I found myself integrating both creativity and problem solving. I loved it and knew that Design was what I wanted to do.
Now I’m studying in National Chiao Tung University. Although my major is Eletronic Engineering, I am still interested in every form of design such as industrial design , graphic design , animation design , photograthy. I believed what I have learned from Eletronic Engineering would be my advantage of solving problems.

FIRST AID STATION ON WATER With the sensor, the protector can detect drowning and inform lifeguards immediately, or even provide as a place for injured and lifeguards
PROBLEM RESEARCH ANALYSIS FINAL CONCEPT
PROBLEM In water sports, drowning is the most common accident. Accident happens most likely because of stress, cramp, injury, unskillful to water, being trapped by debris, exhaustion, hypothermia or loss of consciousness. According to Ministry of the Interior statistics from January to August in 2013, there are 403 cases of drowning, which caused the death of drown accident up to 55.6% (224 people)

most of them drown at the river(46.9%)
HOW TO PREVENT DROWNING ? Though it's not always well-publicized, drowning is one of the leading causes of death from unintentional injury, causing about 10 deaths per day in the Taiwain alone. Tragically, it often happens river and shores â€” in 2013, 70% of the drowning deaths occurred at those place.
Drowning is quick and silent. A child can drown in less than one minute in as little as one inch of water. There is usually no warning, such as screams or splashing.
Drowning is the leading cause of injury-related deaths
RESEARCH According to National Chinese Surf Life Saving Association, there are some of the reasons why drowning happened very often in Taiwan and some information about drowning in Taiwan. Because of these reason, I would like to build a protect system.

RESEARCH SUMMARY UnderstaďŹ€ed and lacking in basic amenities are two important reasons. Based on these two points, I tried to create a product that can be placed at rivers, or near shores to monitor the surface of the water.
As mentioned previously ,drowning happens mostly at river, or near shores.

Itâ€™s a giant protect system on the sea which is consist of many protectors.
It should be placed at the area where do not have lifeguards, or near shore to distinguish between safe area and unsafe area and guard them at the same time.
It can also be placed at a desolate river.

WHERE Where can we use this product? In what kinds of situation?
Why we need this product?
It was my own experience. I went to Kenting several years ago. I witnessed the tragedy that a girl drowned. No one could have helped the girl until someone called 119. Then I came up with an idea: Why don't we make a machine to guard the area for the lifeguard?
How did it work? How to achieve the product's features?
camera & sensor Monitor the situation with the camera and process image with the sensor. The protector can detect swimmerâ€™s drowning situation immediately.

The process started when the Protector found someone falling into water.

There are a lots of physical and mental pressure for the ďŹ rst line of relief workers to be under. According to the research, 20.3 in every 100 injured workers was relief workers. How we can reduce the injury rate of relief workers becomes an important thing.

I got my idea from Cheetah and search & rescue dogs. As you can see, I kept the body curve from Cheetah and dogs. And I try to keep it streamline.
紅色被賦予生命、年輕、奔放的能量，以科學及醫學的角度來看，紅色 確實會讓血壓或體溫上升，它能促進血液的流動，呼吸心跳也跟著加快 ，使情緒產生激盪。而精神面上，當消極或無法振作的時候將紅色的能 量帶入體內便會充滿生命力，積極地活著。而白色也經常被使用在醫院 或是急救箱上，因此這裡使用白色與紅色的配色。

When your stereo becomes alive....... Itâ€™s time to break down the stereotype of speakers.

The concept was inspired by alien movies because I am a fan of science ďŹ ction. Iâ€™ve been devoting myself to conceive unconventional thoughts in this product. As you can see, I tried to make it like a creature by using a lot of organic elements .
The serpentine gallery built by Toyo Ito and Cecil Balmond inspired this part of the speaker. I follow the example of the serpentine galleryâ€™s generative diagrams. Then I conďŹ gured my own generative diagrams.
GENERATIVE DIAGRAMS 1 First, I start with a rectangle.
2 Second, I scale down another rectangle and rotate it. Then I highlight the line that I thought it was interesting.
3 I just do the exactly the same thing what I have done in step two.
4 This time I mirror one of the rectangle and scale it.
5 I just do the exactly the same thing what I have done in step four. Then I highlight the lines that I think it was interesting. Finally, I use this ďŹ gure to create the structure.
Due to the prevalence of bluetooth and Wi-Fi, I would like to create a speaker that combines both bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

INSPIRATION 本作品的發想來自於越南青花人物跪像，此展品的 介紹文中提到次展品的對象為一位侍者。 侍者所代表的便是為人服務的精神，而不論在中西 方皆為如此，以此為出發點，融合中西方侍者的形 象。

Combine the features
綜合以上幾點，＂侍者＂與＂waiter＂這兩個字在 中西方中所代表的意義是一樣的，都是服務別人的 人。以此為出發點，我決定把西方文化的特徵融入 原本東方臉孔的展品中。
此處保留原本亞洲人的形 象，包刮原本展品中的特 徵，像是小鬍子、特殊的 帽子......等等。
融合西方的元素 瓶身下半部為西方的元素 如西裝、領帶、襯衫 ......等等，結合原本的 東方元素。
THREE-VIEW DIAGRAM 我對於瓶身大小的設定大約為比一 個手掌在小一點點的大小，讓使用 較為便利。 打開於頭頂的帽子後可以看到調味 粉的出口。 4.5cm
而脫帽這個動作，正如我們在重要 場合時會脫帽一樣，就如侍者在為 我們服務時的禮儀。
主要的結構為較堅硬的 塑膠而像帽子與底部的 軟蓋則為橡膠材質。 所以主要的材質以塑膠 為主。
內部呈現圓筒狀，儲 存調味料。存量不足 時，從瓶底的軟蓋打 開以補充。

IDEATION REFINEMENT FINAL SPACE
FORM BEFORE FUNCTION To begin the project, I have developed few ďŹ gures focusing on curvilinear from a light box. The project is about the new conďŹ guration, which I join all the separate elements together. This study hopes that we can think out of the box.
Solar panels are on the top of the roof. In the exploded drawing, we can see the bedded structure clearly.
The structureâ€™s ideation in next page was inspired during using Grasshopper, and the structureâ€™s prototype was further created.

Solar cell panel
This is the most important part of my desgin. This concept is derived from the ripples. The solar cell panels, which appear to be in wavy shape, make this building’s energy self-suﬃcient. This shape is inspired from the ﬁgures as well.
Structures of the roof This is the most important structure of the building. I duplicate this structure, scale them into diﬀerent size, and loft them together. And then I lofted them together.
FINAL PLACE Concept of model-

Harp bridge 位在新竹七公里海岸線的西濱公路尾端，建著一座造型獨特 優美的陸橋，優美的橋身造型加上輻射狀的鋼纜，正像是座 巨大的豎琴，讓來往的車輛以及行人為之注目。
Harp bridge 豎琴橋主要的功能是方便遊客跨越西濱公路，靠海那一 端以一階梯與自行車道連結，如果騎車經過豎琴橋時別 忘了上來走走，看那橫跨在新竹西濱快速道路上的天橋 ，可以欣賞到相當漂亮的日落與夜景，是台灣最富有日 落美景的一條自行車道吧，非常具有特色。
Tofu 近一年來頭前溪橋下攔砂壩因長年沖刷，形成一塊塊類似豆 腐形狀岩石，岩石間小溪流與小瀑布極具動感美。
