Braden River Pirates shut out on the road The visiting Braden River High football team fell to Bayshore 35-0 in a non-district game Oct. 11. Quarterback Dusty Peebles, who came on in the second half, carried the ball seven times for 39 yards and completed three passes to three different receivers for 45 yards on the Pirates’ (0-7) final drive of the game. Braden River returns to district action Oct. 19, at Sarasota. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
