“Luces do Mundo”, plasma diferentes viajes a través del mundo, diferentes apuestas por capturar esas luces imposibles que siempre perseguimos los fotógrafos de naturaleza, porque, básicamente soy un fotógrafo de espacios naturales, de luces arriesgadas y a veces casi imposibles.
“Luces do Mundo” reflects different trips around the world, different challenges for capturing those impossible lights that we, the nature photographers, are always dreaming of, because above all I shoot natural areas and daring lights that become sometimes nearly impossible.
La exposición, “Luces do Mundo” nace como un paseo por países de los cinco continentes, lugares diferentes, con costumbres a veces distantes y remotas a nuestra manera de entender ya el mundo. Imágenes con un pilar básico donde la luz es la principal protagonista. Nueva Zelanda, Sudáfrica, Canadá, Perú, Nepal, Egipto y por supuesto Europa desfilan a través de 100 imágenes que dan vida a esta muestra itinerante.
“Luces do Mundo” exhibition was born as a walk in countries on the five continents, across places whose customs differ so much from our way of understanding the world. It is about images with a basic pillar in which light is the star. New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, Peru, Nepal, Egypt and of course Europe are to be seen through the 100 images this traveling exhibition comprises of.
Anécdotas, muchas, pero quizás una de las imágenes que más cariño encierra y mas curiosidad suscita es la de un ratón comiendo de mi mano, ahí, es donde de nuevo la naturaleza sorprende con lo inesperado del momento, ahí, es donde una instantánea compensa muchos disparos fallidos, un simple paseo invernal por las montañas de León, desencadeno una imagen sorprendente.
Anecdotes, plenty, but as one of the fondest I would pick that of a mouse eating out of my hand. And there’s where nature takes you once again by surprise with an unexpected moment, and there’s when a snapshot alone compensates the many failed ones. That’s how just a simple winter walk through the mountains of Leon originated a stunning image.
