Yale & Professional Baseball

Page 2

To all prospective Yale ballplayersSince its first game against Wesleyan College in September of 1865, Yale Baseball has enjoyed an abundance of success both on and off the playing field. Along with providing our ballplayers with a world class education, the success we take the greatest pride in is our ability to help players capture their dreams of playing professional baseball. Since John Stuper took over as Yale’s Head Baseball Coach in 1993, no other Ivy League school has had more players sign professional contracts than Yale University. This document highlights Yale Baseball’s Baseball s long tradition of sending its players on to the next level- a trend we hope future ballplayers strive to maintain. In our opinion, p the best of both worlds exists here at Yale Universityy an education second to none, an opportunity to play a hard-nosed brand of baseball within the Ivy League, and a long-standing tradition of players reaching the highest level of baseball. We continue to look forward to identifying y g the nation’s top p student-athletes, and jjoining g them on their baseball journeys at the college level and beyond…
