Lander, a geneticist who is asked to testify in a murder case about DNA evidence. The Moth Radio Hour airs Sunday, May 27 at 9 p.m. on AM 1370/FMHD 91.5-2

1370 Connection Forums & AM 1370 Specials America Abroad: Iran and the Bomb airs Sunday, May 6 at 9 p.m. Iran continues to pursue the capability to produce a nuclear weapon. In this edition of America Abroad, we explore whether Iran’s leaders can be persuaded to abandon a nuclear weapons program? And what would a nuclear Iran mean for the rest of the world? Intelligence Squared U.S. : When It Comes to Politics, Is The Internet Closing Our Minds? airs Sunday, May 13 at 9 p.m. Does the Internet poison politics? It’s been argued that the rise of “personalization,” the use of algorithms to filter what you see online, and easy access to the likeminded, have served to reinforce our pre-conceptions. Is the information bubble

a myth, or is it undermining civic discourse? Is the rise of social media really broadening our world views, or narrowing them? Intelligence Squared U.S. : Should We Ban College Football? airs Sunday, May 20 at 9 p.m. Corruption and a growing concern for head injury have put college football in the spotlight. Are football programs’ millions in profits exploitation? Or are they still a celebration of amateur sport? Does football’s inherent danger and violence have any place in institutions of higher learning? Or does it provide young men with educational opportunities they would not otherwise have?
