Only a few days into the New Year and 2012 is already looking up for Standish-based Got To Go Travel. The family-run business, which is situated on the High Street in Standish, has been nominated for a prestigious Agents Achievement Award. The Agents Achievement Awards is the UK’s leading awards programme created to recognise excellence and achievement in the UK’s travel agents. Got to Go owners Ryan and Karen Speakman are firmly in the running for Best Small Agents of the Year category in the North West and North Wales region. Ryan told Local Life, “We’re not sure who nominated us, but it was such a great surprise, we couldn’t be happier. “We would like to say how thankful we are for all the local support; we are going from strength to strength since we moved to bigger premises on the High Street.” Ryan and Karen will find out at a glittering ceremony on 26th March in London if they have won the accolade.
