COACHING STAFF Billy Crowe
Assistant Coach - Outfield | Third Season Billy Crowe begins his third season on the Wilmington University baseball staff in 2014 after a successful first two seasons in which he helped lead the team to CACC Championships. Once again, Crowe will take care of the outfielders and will take over as the team’s first base coach for the 2014 season. Crowe is a local product to Delaware, graduating from Salesianum High School in 2007, where he was an All-State catcher as a senior, before pursuing a playing career at nearby Wesley College from 2008-11. He graduated from Wesley with a bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies in 2011. His coaching career started and continues in his fifth season with the Delaware Sabres Youth Baseball Organization. Crowe coaches the Delaware Sabres U12 team.
Dennis Walker
Assistant Coach - Catchers | First Season Dennis Walker joins the Wildcat staff in 2014 for his first season with the Wilmington University baseball program. He comes to Wilmington after a successful and tenured career at Salesianum High School in Wilmington, Del. Walker will work with the Wildcat catchers, both defensively and offensively. Walker is current completing his 26th career as a health and physical education teach at Salesianum, in addition to working with the baseball, football, and basketball teams. He spent 14 years as the head coach of the baseball team, leading his teams to three DIAA State Championships, four finals appearances, as well as four more semi-finals appearances. Walker has been involved with the Salesianum baseball program for 25 year in many different capacities. Prior to coaching, Walker was a four year member of the West Chester University baseball team as a catcher, graduating in 1980. Walker and his wife, Lori, reside in Pike Creek, Del., with their three children; Kevin (25), Sara (23), and John (16).
