The unseasonably cold weather coupled with the wind and rain would normally be a mild irritant on the walk from the Busรกras to the hostel; but in my present state at the time it all cut me to my very core, turning the pile of dirt occupying the space normally reserved for my major organs into cold mud laced with regret.
...Then it all stopped, became sunny and warm and I stopped feeling quite so melodramatic.
