We depart after breakfast and travel over the spectacular Alps and in to Northern Italy before heading down for our first look at the Mediterranean arriving at Diano Marina mid evening. During your stay in Diano Marina we shall have 2 excursions which are included in the price of the holiday. Our local guide will join us for an excursion to San Remo and the charming town of Menton, just over the border in France. For the other excursion we board the coach for a visit to the Principality of Monaco and a chance to see how the rich and famous live. Head out and take a stroll to nearby Potsdamer Platz. This morning we are joined by a local guide for a half day coaching & walking tour of this exciting city. Among the sights are the new Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, visit the house at Checkpoint Charlie, the ''Wall' and much more. We head out of the city today with a short journey to Potsdam, marvel at Potsdam's twelve palaces, including the fantastic Sanssouci Palace, summer residence of King Frederick II. Entrance included. Some free time today and we have also included a visit to Charlottenburg Palace - probably the finest Royal Palace in Berlin.
