18 HOLES Highland Pacific – The city’s newest public course, and very popular with locals, the 18-hole Highland Pacific “was created for golfers who want to enjoy a scenic, challenging championship golf course that is playable all year round.” The course features the Pacific Nine and the Highland Nine, plus a driving range for warm-up and a well-stocked pro-shop with Calloway rental clubs. Enjoy restaurant service at the Range Café. Book your tee time at 250-478-4653. Bear Mountain Golf Resort – Bear Mountain definitely ranks among the city’s premiere locations. Not only does it boast two fine Jack and Steve Nicklaus co-designed courses carved into the mountain overlooking the city, but the resort is also home to a Westin hotel, fine dining, a Santé spa and the 10

Mountainside Athletic Centre. The two challenging 18-hole courses cover diverse terrain and offer spectacular views from their place atop an 1,100foot mountain overlooking the city. Olympic View Golf Club – This 18-hole, par-72 championship course is located just a short drive from downtown in the West Shore community of Colwood. Offering a picturesque, 6,534 yards nestled into West Coast forest, Olympic View has been one of the city’s premier golf destinations since its opening in 1996. A member of Golf BC, whose other courses include Arbutus Ridge a little farther north on the Island, Olympic View’s amenities include a well-stocked pro shop and a fine restaurant and lounge overlooking the course.
