Accompanied by his wife, Robyn, “the love of my life,” the affable host treated friends, clients and event partners to a typically Wells-esque affair that included a three-course candle-lighted dinner, multiple toasts of bubbly and dancing to music by DJ Adrian Loving. Wells’ firm, Events by André Wells, was launched in 2004 and is nationally known for producing glamorous affairs for President Barack Obama’s inauguration and companies such as Walt Disney, BET, PBS, ABC and NBC. Other clients have included Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Robinson. His first gig?
