ANCIENT WAYS CRAFTING: WALNUT DICE AND COUNTING STICKS Saturday, March 9; 10:00am – 1:00pm, Howe Homestead Park Walnut dice have been used for games since days gone by and walnut dice games are still played today. The shells are filled with natural material and adorned with abalone shell pieces or other items. Game scores are tallied using specially decorated sticks. Spend a morning learning how to make a set of dice and counting sticks. All materials and tools are provided and there is a materials fee of $10.00 per person.
