Mokuhanga: Japanese Woodblock Printing

Open Studio Figure Drawing & Painting

For artists’ in-home studios without a press, this beautiful,

supervised use; no instructor. Participants provide their own

low-tech process may be the perfect solution. This workshop

supplies. Different model each week. Enrollment limited. Note: No

Ukiyo-E technique. Participants learn to carve the woodblock, use Japanese carving tools, and print with water-based ink on Japanese paper.
