Paul VI TWO-YEAR LETTERMAN/PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR Dependable veteran performer…has filled a variety of roles both in the backcourt at point guard and inside…tough rebounder and defender…has been a leader since first stepping on the court…returning starter. 2009-10: Played in all 29 games and averaged the second most playing time per game…averaged 5.9 rebounds which was second on the team…started all but two contests…was second on the team in assists with 101 on the season…hit double figures scoring in 16 games…had four double-doubles on the season which was second on the team…scored a season-high 19 points three on the year (Virginia Tech, Presbyterian, High Point)…scored 19 points and grabbed a season-high 12 rebounds at High Point January 23…dished out a career-high 13 assists against Lynchburg…had eight games with five or more assists…scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds with six steals in season opening win against Army…ranked in the top three in the Big South in steals and top six in assists…posted double doubles against Coastal Carolina (11 pts.-11 rebounds, Dec. 3) and Presbyterian (19 pts.-11 rebounds Jan. 9) 2008-09: Started all 32 games at guard as a true freshman…scored 11 points in his collegiate debut at Kentucky and tallied double figures four more times during the year…scored a career-high 15 points at Presbyterian College (2/15) and also grabbed nine rebounds…dished out a career-high seven assists in tourney game against Coastal Carolina (3/3)…averaged 3.0 assists per game, which ranked 13th in the Big South…hit 5-of-6 shots from the floor against Charleston Southern (2/9) in a 12-point outing…pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds in road win at Army (12/21)…hit all four shots from the floor in win at Liberty (2/24) and scored 11 points with seven rebounds in tourney action against Liberty (3/5)…was a top defender and frequently drew the toughest defensive assignment…lettered for the first time. HIGH SCHOOL: Averaged 13.7 points, 7.0 points and 3.0 assists during his senior season at Paul VI, shooting 52% from the floor and 75% from the line…was a three-year starter and served as team captain for two seasons…named WCAC Second Team All Conference and was also named Honorable Mention All-Metro by The Washington Post.
