Like most valley cities, Mesa is an amalgamation of much of America. A taste of Mesa is a taste of Mexico that once occupied this territory. It is a taste of Mormon pioneers that settled on the land of the Salt River, bringing with them strong family values. It is a taste of the Midwest farm families from Iowa, Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota that brought strong work ethics, and like the earlier pioneers, strength in family.
