The Acadiana Center for the Arts The Acadiana Center for the Arts in the heart of Downtown Lafayette functions as a cultural anchor for Acadiana. A facility of great architectural beauty with museum-quality gallery space, workshop, and meeting areas, it is the home of the Acadiana Arts Council, its administrative arm. Through the Center, as well as through outreach in arts funding and education, the Arts Council serves an eightparish region with community development, education, performances, and exhibits. Roberts Cove Germanfest Experience a taste of Germany at the Roberts Cove Germanfest, held the first weekend in October in the community of Roberts Cove, which is about 25 minutes from Lafayette.
