Author
Attorney Lucille Boston is founder and president of a law firm practicing primarily real estate and asset protection law. As a member of the American Bar Association International Division, she studied Mexico’s new foreign investment law under NAFTA and traveled with the U.S. Justice Department to China and Japan to secure trade relationships. As an inheritance tax referee, appointed by the governor of California, she has delivered more than 500 speeches on estate planning and asset protection to civic organizations as well as to the California Army National Guard, who appreciated her advice so much that they made her an honorary colonel. She has served on the condominium association board of governors, often as president, for several properties throughout the United States and in Mexico, and she is the founder of a rail-car company, hailed by the Wall Street Journal as a success story in the article “Developing a Unique Investment Program.” She is still a rail-industry executive, and has served on the California Governor’s Council on Economic Development. Ms. Boston has been named Woman of the Year by several organizations, listed in Who’s Who in California, and featured in many newspapers and other publications, in articles titled “Profile in Commitment,” “She Didn’t Rest on One Success,” and “Is It Really a Man’s World?” Ms. Boston holds a Juris Doctor of Law degree, and in addition to her license to practice law in California, including before the Supreme Court of California, she is licensed to practice before the U.S. Central District Court of California, the U.S. Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
