During their trip to Hawaii for a friend’s wedding, Giang had a hunch that Bill would propose sometime during their trip. One night Bill told her, “I’m tired of being your boyfriend. Will you marry me?” Says Giang, “He sure surprised me! After he told me he was tired of being my boyfriend I thought he was breaking up with me! Instead, it was a new beginning.”
