Sarah Akamine played at Arizona State and Lisa Akamine played at Penn State • One of her hobbies is singing. She was a jazz band vocalist and member of the choir at Escondido and led the fellowship with “The Connection” in Poway, Calif. • Lists her superstition as drawing an “X” in front of home plate before each at-bat
