Esplorano un altro modo di pensare e di agire. Evocano l’illusione matura di una nuova abitabilità, basata su un pensiero, fresco, nudamente pragmatico e propositivo, conoscitore e manipolatore delle virtù e delle miserie della cultura architettonica ed urbanistica del secolo scorso. Una cultura assunta come estranea ma dotata di qualche attrezzo operativo efficiente per cominciare la semina di una “nuova abitabilità” [x].
Duodicesimo dialogo: Cultura (come redentrice) Gli edifici culturali sono ancora il vettore strano che la società introduce con l’illusione di dirigere o alterare il senso del movimento della cultura delle masse. Oltre gli edifici, le loro architetture mostrano la logica della metafora dell’apprendimento come costruzione collettiva di un futuro desiderato. È in quei corpi architettonici contemporanei che la società come tale deposita i suoi desideri.

Eleventh Dialog: Illusion (as a reality modifier) Beyond the Event Horizon there is a space to explore an ambiguous zone between reality and illusion. To be more precise we talk about works that operate in the reality of illusion and illusory things. We also talk about their decisive implication when defining, describing and orienting “the real thing” at a specific historic moment. We are interested in their capacity to provoke and subvert “the expectable”. They explore another way of thinking and acting. They evoke the mature illusion of a new habitability, based on a thought which is fresh, nakedly pragmatic and propositive, expert and manipulator of virtues and miseries of the architectonic and urbanistic culture of the last century. A culture assumed as belonging to someone
else but having a series of operative and efficient tools to begin the harvest of a “new habitability”[x].
Twelfth Dialog: Culture (as redeemer) Cultural buildings keep being the strange vector that society introduces hoping to direct or alter the direction of movement of mass culture. Beyond buildings, their architectures show the logic of the metaphor of learning as a collective construction of a desired future. It is on those architectonic bodies that society bases its hopes.
