ADMISSION TO THE HONORS COLLEGE AT USF ADMISSION TO THE HONORS COLLEGE AT USF IS HIGHLY SELECTIVE. WE’RE INTERESTED IN INVITING ONLY THE BEST AND BRIGHTEST STUDENTS TO JOIN OUR CLOSE-KNIT COMMUNITY. IN ORDER TO BE ADMITTED TO THE HONORS COLLEGE, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: UPPER-LEVEL STUDENTS • 3.5 cumulative post-secondary GPA based on 45 college or university level credits. • Must have successfully completed two full semesters of coursework as a degree-seeking college student.
FIRST YEAR STUDENTS • 3.8 GPA • 1300 SAT, with a minimum 580 verbal or an ACT composite score of 29, with a minimum English score of 29 • 3.0 GPA in any post-secondary or college coursework All students who meet these requirements receive an invitation to join the Honors College once they have been admitted to USF. It is important to apply early, as scholarship assistance is only guaranteed up to a certain date each semester.
