RELAY FOR LIFE is a branch of Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) here at USD. This is a 24-‐hour event that will be held on March 21st to the 22nd, 2014 to raise money for cancer awareness, education, and research. This USD tradition is a powerful opportunity to bring together the whole USD community as we celebrate and remember those who have been affected by this disease. There will be a Survivor’s Ceremony, Luminaria Ceremony, food, activities, entertainment, and so much more! Last year we had an impressive showing of over 750 participants to raise over $40,000, this year we will continue to fight harder against a disease that has taken too much. Although the event is months away, we encourage everyone to start creating their teams and fundraising! Everyone and anyone is welcome to the event, so bring your friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers!
