Figure 2.17 combines Figure 2.15 and Figure 2.16 into one illustration to highlight “all the details” of how the energy of the body is generated from the legs to begin the transfer of body energy into the stone. You will notice in Figure 2.17 since all the energy is targeted through the COBW, no energy is lost left or right or down toward the ice via gravity.
