in 1910, the fresh URI were given of rules to follow. If a strict set one of them, they broke they were punished by the student counsel in such ways as being made to shovel coal. The rules were as follows:

1. All freshmen must procure and wear at all times in the open air, every day except Sun days or holidays. In the town ship of South Kingstown and Narragansett, a blue cap, topped with a white button, V/2 inches in diameter. 2. This cap must be worn till the 30th of April, unless the class is victorious in the annual Sophomore Football Game, in which case it may be taken off on
April
1st.
3. Allow all ladies, upper class and sophomores prece men dence in passing through all doors on college property. 4. Render at all times any aid required of you by any athletic

All Freshmen must report for student labor when your names are posted on the bulletin board. 8, No Freshman may be seen on the campus or anywhere in the township of South Kingstown with any co-ed. 9. You may not be seen outside the village of Kingston after manager 5.
