It is better to have things done in advance so that you can have time to relax and enjoy the special day. Things that come up are not usually stressful if you have enough time to get it done. Don’t push things off and think that if you have 8 months left you have enough time. It takes a lot of time to get these things done and you don’t want to have any pressure during your engagement. Urbanette: What are the biggest mistakes brides make in wedding planning? Gina: One mistake brides make in wedding planning is not allowing a big enough budget for what they would like to have on their big day. Making plans and then not having the budget to put them through is disheartening and can be stressful.
