This is Upstate Volleyball Off-Court Success The USC Upstate volleyball team has experienced just as much success away from the volleyball net as they have had on the court. Among a slew of academic honors, here are some highlights: • 107 Conference Academic Honor Roll Selections (since 1991) • 25 Players With Multiple Honor Roll Citations • 10 Straight Semesters with a Team GPA better than 3.0 • 9 USC Upstate Student-Athletes of the Year • 5 Four-Time Conference Honor Roll Selections (Kendall Harper, Jenna Leslie, Holly Mauldin, Lindsay Richardson, Mandy Rupert) • 3 CoSIDA Academic All-District Selections • 2 NCAA South Carolina Women of the Year • 1 AVCA Team Academic Award The 2007 volleyball team won the AVCA Team Academic Award for posting a team GPA of better than 3.30.
2007 graduate Mandy Rupert is the only player in school history to earn four conference playing honors and four conference honor roll mentions.
