Bryant is active in several community service organizations. She is currently a member of the Uptown Sertoma Club and was a past president of the civic organization. She is active in the Leadership Spartanburg Alumni Association and formerly served on its Board of Directors and was a past president. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Shepherd’s Center and is a recent graduate of Regional Fellows. Bryant received a bachelor’s degree in Political Economy and Philosophy from Wofford College in 1993. She and her husband, Scott, are the proud parents of a son, Grayson.

Bill English

Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Bill English begins his seventh full year as Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations after being promoted to the position in 2003. He spent the previous year and a half as the school’s sports information director and will enter his ninth year at the University this spring. English came to USC Upstate after serving as the assistant sports information director at Wofford College from 1997-2001. English is a 1993 graduate of Wofford with a bachelor’s degree in government. Upon graduation, he worked for one year in the sports department at the Spartanburg Herald-Journal where he was a writer covering high school football and basketball and college basketball. English left the Herald-Journal to attend graduate school at Appalachian State where he served as a graduate assistant in the sports information office. Also working as a graduate assistant in the physical education department while working on his master’s degree in sport management, he was inducted into the Alpha Epsilon Lambda graduate school national honor fraternity in 1996. English is a member of CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). He worked as the official scorer for the Greenville Braves, a former Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, in 2000. A native of Washington Court House, Ohio, English moved to Spartanburg with his family in 1981. He resides in Moore.

Brandon McKillop

Director of Athletic Facilities & Game Management Brandon McKillop is in his first year as the Director of Athletic Facilities and Game Management at USC Upstate. He will coordinate the maintenance and setup of the athletic facilities in addition to serving as the game manager for all home events. McKillop has an extensive background in athletics and is a native of the Spartanburg area, having grown up in Boiling Springs. While also serving in his capacity at Upstate, he is a real estate agent with Chase E. Furnas & Co. in Spartanburg.

McKillop was a standout baseball player at Boiling Springs High School and Wofford College. A prolific singles hitter, he ranks ninth all-time at Wofford with 121 singles and 22nd all-time with 137 hits. He is also one of the program’s top threats on the base path, ranking third all-time with 60 stolen bases. He graduated from Wofford in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and received a master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from the University of Florida in 1997. While at Florida, he worked in the sports information and baseball offices, receiving his initial experience working in intercollegiate athletics. McKillop returned to the Spartanburg area in 1998 to serve as assistant baseball coach at his alma mater, Wofford. He spent two seasons with the Terriers as the program’s top assistant and recruiting coordinator before leaving for the assistant coaching position at Newberry in 2000. McKillop returned to Wofford for his third stint at the school in 2001, again serving as the top assistant for the baseball program. In addition to his baseball duties, he also served as the Director of Intramurals and was an assistant within the athletic facilities office within the athletic department. McKillop left Wofford in 2006 to work for the Spartanburg County Parks and Recreation Department as the Event Manager at Cleveland Park prior to accepting the position at Chase E. Furnas & Co. in 2007. McKillop and his wife, Lora, a graduate of USC Upstate, are the proud parents of a son, Bennett, and a daughter, Lilli. The couple and their children reside in Boiling Springs.

Scott Senger

Strength & Conditioning Coach Scott Senger is in his second season as the head strength and conditioning coach at USC Upstate. Senger earned his Master’s of Science degree in Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science and his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Development and Education from North Dakota State University. Senger came to Upstate from Chesnee High School where he served in a myriad of roles from 2005-08. He served as the head athletic trainer, head speed and conditioning coach, assistant strength coach and the assistant track & field coach. He was responsible for the daily care of all athletic related injuries, education of all athletes on the importance of proper nutrition and overall body wellness and the development and implementation of strength, speed and conditioning programs to include preseason, in-season and off-season training. In addition to his experiences at Chesnee, Senger served as the Assistant Outreach Sports Medicine Coordinator for HEALTHSOUTH of Las Vegas, Nev., and the Assistant Chief Medical Officer for USA Wrestling Regional and National Events. Senger’s history in strength and conditioning began in Las Vegas from 2003-05 where he assisted with the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for Desert Pines High School, Cimar-

ron-Memorial High School, HEALTHSOUTH Performance and the Las Vegas Wranglers ECHL AA Minor Professional hockey team. He helped develop and implement strength and conditioning programs for three years with Chesnee High School from 2005-08 and is currently providing off-ice performance conditioning for the USA Hockey South Eastern District select hockey camps. Senger and his wife, Stephanie, were married on May 24, 2008.

Carol Osterfoss Business Manager

Carol Osterfoss is in her third year as the Athletics Business Manager at USC Upstate. She oversees all business operations for the Athletics Department. Osterfoss is no stranger to USC Upstate. She worked for the University from 2000-06 as the graduate coordinator in the School of Education Graduate Programs Office. Prior to her stint at Upstate, she worked in the Admissions Office at the University of South Carolina in Columbia from 1996-98. A native of Florida, Osterfoss moved to Abbeville, S.C., where she attended Abbeville High School. She graduated from Lander University with bachelor degrees in English and Business in 1989. Osterfoss and her husband, Mike, have three children: Nicholas, Trevor and Christopher.

Barbara White

Administrative Assistant Barbara White is in her sixth year as the administrative assistant, office manager, and business manager in the athletic department. She is in her 10th year overall at USC Upstate. White previously served as an administrative specialist in the advancement office at USC Upstate. White, a native of Texas, began her professional career in 1984, working as a secretary at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Florence, S.C. She served in that position for four years before accepting a similar position at the Main Street United Methodist Church in Columbia, S.C., in 1988. After eight years at the Main Street United Methodist Church, White became an administrative assistant at Wachovia Bank in Columbia in 1996. After two years of working at Wachovia, she accepted the position in the USC Upstate advancement office in 1998. White earned a Business/Secretarial certificate from Draughn Business College in Dallas, Texas, then attended North Texas State for two years.
