Non-performance related remuneration (including benefits in kind)

Emoluments for senior staff are determined by the Remuneration Committee as set out in the Corporate Governance and Internal Control Statement on page 13. None of the lay members receives payment, apart from the reimbursement of expenses, for the work that the member does for the University. The reimbursement of expenses amounted to £9,000 (2010: £6,000).
