This does not happen automatically, but is the result of efforts by the government to encourage and c ompel s uch c ompliance. I n t his c lass, s tudents w ill di scuss t hose v arious ef forts and the es sential rol e t he enforcement officer plays in making those efforts a success. After taking this class students will be familiar with the policy and l egal issues raised by environmental and natural resource enforcement, as well as the practical Issues faced by the enforcement officer in the field.
