This program, geared toward science and engineering students, focuses on biology, chemistry and biophysics research. Participants work on state-of-the-art studies in small groups with National Research Council faculty and advanced students. There are also ample opportunities to enjoy the Sicilian culture, rich in architecture, art, food, history, literature and music. The striking southern Italian landscape features Greek temples, Roman ruins, Norman castles and Byzantine domes.
