2009 -- The National Human Development Report for 2009/2010 on youth in Kyrgyzstan is based on results from a broad survey, focus group meetings and roundtables with young people throughout the country and expert analysis. This participatory approach provides a snapshot of the needs and desires of young people as they perceive and understand them. The group of independent authors looked at human development issues such as health, education, social activism - through the prism of values that affect young people's behavioral patterns. The Report revealed that young people in Kyrgyzstan most value getting an education and making the right career choices. Their values are related to ideas about social order, its economic and political foundations, and perspectives on society’s historic development.
