LC We plan activities that are interactive, fun and representative of different areas of study and career paths. LC: IU: IU Which activities have the children enjoyed most?

LC Past activities have involved participation from different schools and departments. Children have created LC: resumes at the Toppel Career Center, participated in wellness activities at the Wellness Center, learned about visual and graphic arts at the School of Communication, and acted as doctors and nurses at the School of Nursing. I recall the latter being one of their favorites. IU: IU Describe the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day in three words.

LC Fun, educational, and eye-opening. LC: IU Tell us one fun fact about this day that we may not know. IU: LC We always invite a special guest such as University President Shalala, Provost LeBlanc, or Sebastian the Ibis. LC: Our featured guest speaker last year was Jackie Nespral, UM alumna and anchorwoman for WTVJ-Miami. Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day takes place on May 15, 2014 on the Coral Gables, Miller School of Medicine, and RSMAS campuses.
