Blogger is a web-based application to build blogs. Blogger offers many fascinating, yet easy to use templates and tools to create unique and eye-catching blogs. This course requires basic computer skillsand the disposition to publish material online. In addition, by the end of the session students will have a broader understanding of social media trends including Facebook and Twitter. Week 1: What is a Blog? A brief history and tour of weblogs. Week 2: What is Blogger.com? Account/blog creation; touring the dashboard; creating additional blogs; deleting a blog. Week 4: A Brief History Of Social Media: Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Week 5: Creating a Facebook account, working with account and privacy settings, profile, and picture albums. Week 6: Creating a Twitter Account: Posting and following Twitter feeds.Fridays
