Religion in Life Conference Keynoting this year's Religion in Life Conference "路as Dr. J ames 路路Gus" Kallas. chairman of the division of theology and philosoph y at California Lutheran College in Thousand Oa k , California. Centering his talks around the conference theme, ""Is Christian ity Releva nt in Our Time," D r. Kallas delivered the two main addresses of the conference. I n th e convocational address pointing out "The Ach illes H eel of Christianity," Dr. Kallas insisted that th e Christian faith ca nnot be meaningfully considered apart from a Satanic context, and strongly advocated a return to a more con ervativc theology.

Discussions held in the va rious living groups on campus formed a vita l part of this year's conference. These discussions were led by the nineteen ministers and church leaders from the Iclaho-WashingLOn area \\'ho were invited to take part in conference activi ties.
