Tabbed UConn’s Rookie of the Year after leading the Huskies with 23 points on a team-high 12 goals and 11 assists…ranked fourth in scoring among Hockey East freshmen…one of just two conference freshmen to record a hat trick during the season when she did so against Sacred Heart (11/27)…named the WHEA Rookie of the Week after posting the game-tying goal against Northeastern (2/6)…netted two game-winners during the season, against Clarkson (10/9) with her first collegiate goal and then against Sacred Heart (11/27) in the Nutmeg Classic…posted the lone UConn goal at Syracuse (10/16)…assisted on the game-winning goal versus New Hampshire (11/13)…recorded UConn’s first goal in a 2-1 victory over New Hampshire (11/14)…tallied the Huskies’ lone goal at Providence (12/5)…ended the contest at Colgate (10/15) with a +2 rating after tallying UConn’s final goal of the game…recorded a pair of assists during two contests, against Robert Morris (1/9) and versus Providence (2/13)…tallied a season-high six shots against Northeastern (2/26) in the WHEA Tournament.

Taylor Gross…daughter of Dennis and Kim Gross…has one sister, Tori and a brother, Tyler…born on March 11, 1992…a biological sciences major.
Getting to Know... Why I Chose UConn On my official visit, I immediately fell in love with the campus and I loved how the team got along with each other. In 10 Years, I See Myself... Teaching high school biology and coaching youth hockey. Best UConn Hockey Experience/ Moment When I scored my first career goal during family weekend. Not only was it cool because it was my first goal, but my grandpa was there to see it.
