It’s going to be hard to top the season the UCF men’s soccer team had in 2010, but Bryan Cunningham and the 2011 Knights are up to the challenge. Last season, the team returned to the NCAA Tournament, falling in OT at Michigan in the Second Round. But, that loss was far from the defining moment of the season as UCF made its mark on the na onal stage.

The Knights were one of the top teams in Florida, winning more games at home than any other program in the state. UCF even took down in-state rival USF, 3-0, in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament; the first home game in na onal postseason play for the Knights. The 2011 UCF men’s soccer team has a lot to build on. With Cunningham bringing in a talented group of new players and one of the best returning cores in all of college soccer, expect the Knights to once again raise the bar. Fans should look forward to another exci ng season of men’s soccer in the newly expanded UCF Soccer Complex against some of the best compe on in the na on.
