Media Information The 2012 UCF baseball yearbook is a source of information for the media. Additional information on UCF baseball and other UCF sports is available upon request from the UCF Athletics Communications Office, located in the Wayne Densch Sports Center, Building No. 39.
Practice
Practice is open to the media and public, but times vary throughout the spring semester. Any media members wishing to attend practice or would like to receive an updated schedule should contact Eric DeSalvo at (407) 823-6489, or email him at edesalvo@athletics.ucf.edu, at least 24 hours in advance.
Credentials
Credentials for home games are issued for working media only and should be requested at least 24 hours in advance of the game from Eric DeSalvo. Credentials can be picked up two hours prior to game time at the will call window of the stadium’s ticket office.
Photographers
All photographers must shoot from the concourse or berm areas. No cameras or photographers will be permitted on the field.
Radio
All radio stations must follow the procedure above for obtaining media passes. UCF provides two lines for radio stations from visiting schools wishing to broadcast from Jay Bergman Field. Lines for conference opponents are provided on a reciprocal basis.
Press Box Services
The press box phone number is (407) UCF-HITS (823-4487) and is for media use only. However, fans may use this line for updates on possible inclement weather affecting the start of the game. Programs, team rosters, updated team and conference statistics and game notes will be available two hours prior to game time. A complete NCAA box score will be distributed to members of the working media at the end of each game with play-by-play also available.

Press Box Meal
Media members are invited to enjoy a pre-game meal, which will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of the game.
Parking
Media parking is available for free in Garage F, located immediately south of the baseball complex. Select games may require a pass due to events at the UCF Arena, so contact Eric DeSalvo for more information.
Interviews
Coach Rooney and his staff are available for interviews during the season before and after Knights’ practices. All player and coaches’ interview requests must go through Eric DeSalvo. The availability of players depends on class schedules during the week. Please give at least 24 hours advance notice for all interview requests. Most players will be available for up to 30 minutes before and after each practice. The coaching staff and players will be available for postgame interviews approximately 10 minutes after games on the field near the UCF dugout.
UCF Over the Airwaves
The UCF-IMG College Radio Network is set to broadcast a select number of regular-season games on 740-AM, as well as the Conference USA Championship and the NCAA Tournament. Marc Daniels, the “Voice of the Knights,” will be on hand to kick off the broadcasts with a 15-minute pregame show.
