Tip for constipation Mr. Malik Abdullah from Mianwali has written to Ubqari a tested formula for chronic constipation, which shall benefit the humanity, especially elder people. Tukham-e-Bartaan Ispaghol, Tukham-e-Rehan, Qanoocha. Take these in equal proportion; clean them and put them in a wide-mouth jar or bottle after mixing them well. Pamphlets were free, I used to read and buy the medicines, it worked and sometimes it used to be other way round. The company’s people were familiar to me and use to give me discount. These medicines included “Amber and Saffron” but they did not use it; turmeric was used instead of saffron. The remaining ingredients of the prescription had some positive effect but the company claimed that if we use expensive ingredients, medicine would be expensive and no one would buy. Further, after the expiry period the medicines would become useless and the company would suffer loss. This was my experience in 1973 and after that I rarely used ‘prepared’ Herbal Medicines.
