Always she overflowed with love, hope and inspiration for everyone, family, friends, students, strangers and her beloved adopted "Home" of Oviedo for the past 30 years.” The Artistic Hand's owner, Del Seaman, writes of his late wife. If you’ve ever had the opportunity to walk into this little gem, you’ll see and hear about the life of Barbara Seaman from none other than her husband Del. The stories that he shared with me told a tale of a full and rich life of which most of us only dream of. Then as you begin winding your way through the displays of artwork, you’ll see how that love of life has been transformed into the lives of others with encouragement to learn, to experience and to love the art of self expression through objects formed by hand. The shop at The Artistic Hand represent the work of over 100 craftspeople. Some are internationally or nationally known, while others are just starting on their artistic path. Also included are the pieces of some of the teachers and students.
Ceramic works by nationally recognized artists such as Rob LaWarre and Chris Jones, as well as many other artists covering a variety of work fill the shop with unique, hand crafted items that make the perfect gift or item for your home. Broadway Gymnastics is the perfect summer destination. Throughout the day your child will participate in a variety of different activities to include gymnastics events, games, relay races, obstacle course, crafts, and much more! Do we go on field trips? We bring the field trips to the kids! They will have visits from firefighters, police officers, animal trainers, sports instructors and much more. Many special events take place throughout the week.
