STUDENT ASSISTANT BRITTANY WEBB Brittany Webb joined the Tennessee State University softball staff after a four-year playing career for the Tigers. Webb will work assist with the infield as well as perform duties assigned by head coach Jeff Dabney. Webb was named to the All-OVC second team as a sophomore and a junior and finished her career as one

of the top players in TSU softball history. Her name is scattered throughout the record books and is the all-time leader in runs batted in and walks. Webb is listed in the Top 5 in ten more career catagories, including doubles, home runs, hits, defensive assists, put outs and fielding percentage. A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Brittany Webb will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in May 2012.

VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT EMILY STEGEMAN Emily Stegeman joined the Tennessee State University softball staff in the fall of 2011. Stegeman will assist in all aspects of the game as well as perform duties assigned by head coach Jeff Dabney. Stegeman played in 183 games during her career at the University of Dayton. As a shortstop, she recorded the highest amount of assists in the Atlantic-10. She was named to the A-10 All-Rookie team as a freshman and appeared on the Commissioner’s

Honor Roll all four years. Stegeman also played internationally with the USA Athletes National team in Italy and as a member of the Miami Valley Xpress during their Pre-Olympic tour in Beijin, China. The Dayton, Ohio native graduated with a Bachelor in Excercise Science and Pre-Physical Therapy, along with a minor in Biology. Stegeman is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is also a volunteer for the Muscular Dystrophy Association and local Children’s Hospital.

GRADUATE ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER DANNETTA FELDER FIRST SEASON CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, LONG BEACH, 2009 Dannetta Felder joined the staff as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for Tennessee State in August 2011. Felder is responsible for the providing primary athletic training care for volleyball and softball. She also assists with football and performs other duties as assigned by head athletic trainer Monroe Abram. Felder came to Tennessee State from Charleston Southern University where she served as an athletic training intern. She provided primary coverage for the men and women’s cross country and track and field teams. She was responsible for injury prevention, administering first

aid, coordination and supervision of rehabilitation programs, and travel coverage. She also served as an athletic training intern at California State University (Fresno) and worked with Long Beach Sports Physical Therapy as a physical therapist. As an undergrad, Felder was as athletic training student at California State University, Long Beach. A native of Vallejo, California, Felder graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor of science in Kinesiology (Option: Athletic Training) in May 2009. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sports Administration.
