Contrasts of New Zealand After Auckland’s harbour, geothermal wonders and Maori culture in Rotorua, it’s on to the South Island for the TranzAlpine train, Franz Josef Glacier and a chance to cruise on Milford Sound.  It’s insider moments like… getting close-up and feeling the power of the largest active geyser in the southern hemisphere, as our local expert explains the mythology and intricate ‘plumbing system’ that forces water and steam up to 30m high. Day 1 | Arrive Hobart On arrival in Hobart you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 12.30pm). Join your Travel Director for an afternoon sightseeing tour of Hobart. Your orientation takes in Battery Point, Salamanca Place, the Botanic Gardens and Constitution Dock. Each guest is responsible for having a passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the conclusion of their trip and all necessary visas and permits. Multiple-entry visas may be required as you will enter a country more than once on some of our holidays. Each guest must comply with entry, health and other requirements of the countries visited. Visa Cancellation Fee Waiver For holidays* costing up to US$1,200 per person, waiver fee is US$99 per person For holidays* costing over US$1,200 per person, waiver fee is US$129 per person Trafalgar has devised a unique scheme to protect you against cancellation fees in the event that you should not be granted a visa. By purchasing Trafalgar’s Visa Cancellation Fee Waiver, you are covered for the following:  hould you cancel your Trafalgar trip up to 15 days prior •S to arrival, your deposit and/or payment to Trafalgar will be refunded, minus the charge for the visa cancellation fee waiver. •S  hould you cancel within 14 – 01 days prior to the trip departure, you will be charged only 25% of the trip cost, rather than 50%. The Visa Cancellation Fee Waiver covers the Land arrangements made by Trafalgar only and excludes all cruise portions, holidays with internal flights, train travel and optional extensions. The Visa Cancellation Fee Waiver must be booked at time of making your reservation but can be paid for at time of making final payment. The Visa Cancellation Fee Waiver is not refundable. Purchase of visa waiver insurance is limited to one group of 5 guests per departure, subject to availability at time of booking. N.B.
