W E LCO M E On behalf of Saskatoon City Council and all of our citizens, I am very pleased to welcome you to the beautiful city of Saskatoon.

Donald J. Atchison Mayor, City of Saskatoon

From our vibrant arts and festival scene to our museums and recreational amenities, Saskatoon welcomes visitors with wonderful experiences, sights and sounds. Whether you are taking in one of our great sporting events, walking the trails of our scenic river valley or visiting the Farmers’ Market at River Landing, I hope you will enjoy, as much as I do, everything our city has to offer. I invite you to explore our vibrant city, experience our world-class hospitality and discover why we are proud to call Saskatoon our home. Once again, welcome, enjoy your stay and I hope you will visit again soon. The big events are great – but sometimes it is the little things that help me discover our sense of place. Kids splashing in the water park at River Landing, an unexpected view of lights reflecting in the river, that unique flavour found at a restaurant I have never visited before. I have lived here for 34 years but there still seems to be an unending array of surprising moments. I trust you will find the same as you experience our beautiful city.

Todd Brandt President & CEO, Tourism Saskatoon

To the naturalist, nothing compares to sitting motionless for hours while watching a bird of prey circle in the endless ocean of blue prairie sky. Perhaps it is the bird who is named for its cat-like call, the Gray Catbird, or maybe it is the delicious silence broken by the drone of worker bees and hummingbird wings. Take a walk on the wild side!
