The Buddy Walk was developed by the National Down Syndrome Society in 1995 to promote awareness and inclusion for people with Down syndrome and to raise money for research and education programs. People with Down syndrome, families, and friends walk a one-mile course while enjoying snacks and entertainment. Our goal is to have 1,000 or more walkers participate in our event.
