The inner drive we have to succeed and be happy can oftentimes be the motivating factors driving our decision making process. While those end results are worthy of pursuit, the means by which some us achieve happiness and success can be questionable. The means by which we obtain success has a direct bearing on how we enjoy success. Solomon wrote in Proverb 22:10 (KJV), “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” We can make choices in our lives that are mentally and spiritually healthy by using the tools that God has made available to us. These tools include: • Access to God’s Written Word • Prayer • Wisdom • The Power of God These spiritual tools allow us to set goals and make decisions to achieve our goals without being contrary to behavior that God expects from us as His followers. 50 THE WHOLE TRUTH
