Things got out of hand a little and road side grass caught fire. 14th Sept: In the evening, officers attended a car crash on Lakeside Road. No one was injured. Local authorities wish to know how Ruby The Red Back and Terry The Tarantula came to be in possession of an iPhone and laptop. There is concern that they may be using the devices to organise a large scale spider gathering in Wanaka. Some spiders are known to enjoy an active social life which can involve building communal webs to house anywhere from a few to 50,000 individuals. Whether or not Ruby and Terry have been inviting their spider friends to visit is unclear but authorities are now monitoring social media site SpiderBook for clues.
