Tonight, you’ll enjoy a special farewell dinner at one of the most elegant and historic restaurants in Ottawa – The Courtyard. You’ll dine on white linen tablecloths and fine English china while enjoying locally-sourced cuisine as the chef has prepared a special meal for you tonight. Day 4: Alexandria Bay & The 1,000 Islands, New York (B) After breakfast, you’ll depart for Alexandria Bay. With a brief stop at the duty free shop, you reenter the United States for a guided cruise through the 1,000 Islands to discover “Millionaires Row.” These islands were developed during the turn of the century by the very wealthy as their playground and retreat. With so many people of power and prestige in the area during “the season,” The New York Times kept a correspondent in the area to report on their activities.
