2012 local market special publications Keepsake Edition FIRE FEST 2011 • Landscaping • Best Management Practices What does Fire Fest achieve? Over the past 18 years, we have distributed hundreds of smoke detectors and fire extinguishers for local homes, reduced incidents involving children and matches, met the people who help us in emergencies, fingerprinted hundreds of our children, provided bicycle and car seat safety information and, overall, created safer homes, vehicles, streets, neighborhoods and forests. Introducing Baby: Ethan Christian Anderson Activities include fire engines and equipment, vehicle extrication, a burn demonstration of rooms with and without fire sprinklers, home safety ideas, free hand out material and lots of special aractions for kids, like water fights, bounce house and Smokey Bear, Sparky and other friends. Kids can earn a pass for a drawing for ski passes and other cool prizes. Proud Parents: Corinne & Jess Anderson APRIL This homeowners’ guide is developed to encourage a long shelf-life by including useful information and easy access to important resources/phone numbers/websites/etc. Inserted into the Tahoe Daily Tribune and distributed at targeted locations, it’s the ultimate way to get in front of basin homeowners.
